Description

This is a 1968-70 Roberto Clemente Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9. There are a few ball marks and two colors of bat rack streaks to indicate multiple series of use. The uncracked handle reveals a moderate coating of pine tar, and the barrel has further traces of the substance from contact with other bats. Clemente liked his lumber on the large side and this is no exception, measuring thirty-six and a half inches (36.5″) in length and tipping the scales at thirty-seven and a half ounces (37.4 oz.). The knobless style of the subject bat is consistent with the U1 model from Louisville Slugger that Clemente also favored.
