Red-and-blue stitched 1920’s Official American League game baseball signed in blue ink by twenty participants and attendees at the 1928 World Series, including Babe Ruth, Joe McGinnity, Rogers Hornsby, G. C. Alexander, Rabbit Maranville, Tony Lazzeri, Jim Bottomley, Frank Frisch, Bill Dickey, Leo Durocher, Benny Bengough, Andy High, Clarence Mitchell, Taylor Douthit, and boxer James Corbett. (According to the JSA LOA nine signatures have been enhanced – McGinnity, Mitchell, O’Doul, Durocher, Gehrig, Corbett, Bottomley, Douthit, and Hornsby). The ball shows game use.
