Official National League ball (Giles) signed in blue ink by the following 29 members of the 1955 World Champion Brooklyn Dodgers: Jackie Robinson, Roy Campanella, Sandy Koufax, Alston (Mgr., sweet spot), Billy Herman (coach), Duke Snider, Pee Wee Reese, Gil Hodges, Tommy Lasorda, Shuba, Walker (sweet spot), Podres, Amoros, Howell, Zimmer, Gilliam, Kellert, Hughes, Pitler (coach), Erskine, Roebuck, Becker (coach), Labine, Newcombe, Furillo, Loes, Spooner, Borkowski, and Meyer. 1955 marked the Dodgers’ only World Championship in Brooklyn, and team-signed balls from that historic season have always been highly prized by collectors.
