Mickey Mantle & Roger Maris Signed 1960’s Game Used Baseball Hat Cap PSA DNA COA

Outstanding professional model New York Yankees cap signed by Hall of Famer Mickey Mantle alongside Roger Maris and Ed Lopat. The signatures have each been neatly and boldly scripted in black marker on the inside brim of the cap, contrasting strongly against the bold green background. Also present on the underside of the cap is the number “41” in the center, a likely attribution to one of the Yankees players, though we cannot be sure as to the exact dating and origin of this cap. Mantle and Lopat were teammates for the first part of the 1950s, and Roger Maris joined the club in 1960, which was also the only year that Lopat served as a coach for the Major League team. While it could date to as early as 1960, it is very possible that this cap was signed at a reunion event, such as Old Timer’s Day, at a later time. Manufactured by New Era, the size 7-3/8 cap exhibits moderate use, with visible wear along the inside and light staining on the brim. The exterior of the cap remains in outstanding condition.
