Historic ticket stub dating from Roger Maris’ 61st home run game, on October 1, 1961, at Yankee Stadium. Stub is from a season ticket package and is labeled as Game 81, encapsulated by PSA as Good 2 largely due to a staple hole in the top corner, but it presents very well with little, if any, fading evident to the green card stock and crisp printing throughout. Maris completed his chase not only for Babe Ruth’s previous record of 60 in a season, but also with popular Yankees teammate Mickey Mantle that very season, though the Mick settled for 54 after missing time due to injury in the season’s final weeks.
