This spectacular poster was part of a complete set of NFL/AFL team theme art posters commissioned by the league from 1968-1970 from some of the best sports artists of the era. The San Diego Chargers entry, by artist “Glad”, celebrates that bold, colorful, psychedelic style of the late 1960s, with football action designed to evoke the super-fast high-flying style of Sid Gillman’s trailblazing offense of the era. A rare poster that you may remember from bedroom walls back in the day, but haven’t seen since! Limited quantity remains in our warehouse.
