Yes, that’s right – January 27, 2002, the original date of Super Bowl XXXVI, is printed on this poster. This first-printing of the Official Tickets poster was completed just days before September 11, when the terrorist attacks caused the NFL to push back the big game to February 3, 2002. The publisher, Action Images, had already shipped several hundred copies of this printing before the date change was made, but suspended shipments immediately as they prepared a reprinting. Therefore, this original-date version is in EXTREMELY limited supply. Super Bowl poster collectors will want to grab up a copy before they’re gone.
